How to Check Devices Connected to Gmail

As shown in the figure below, first log in to your user account and look for the Manage your Google Account option and click on it.

In this section, there are various settings for securing your Google account. To view devices connected to your account, look for the Your Devices section. After finding this section, find the Manage Devices option at the bottom and click on it.

Security Checkup

This section displays a list of all devices connected to your Google account. Also, your login history for the last 28 days can be viewed. The first item in this list, indicated by a blue tick, is the device that you are currently signed in with. If you wish, you can click on the More Details option for each device to see more information about it. By clicking on this section, a page like the one below will open for you:

The most important parts of this section include the following:

1. In this section, you can see the name of the device you are signed in with.
2. In this section, the location of the device and the time of your last activity on the selected device can be seen.
3. In this section, the date of the first login to the account using the selected device is displayed.

Tutorial for removing devices connected to Gmail

In the previous section, we reviewed how to view a list of all devices connected to your Google account and their details. Now, you may want to cut off access to some of these devices from your Gmail.

To do this, after logging in to the Security page and selecting the desired device from the list of devices, as mentioned in the previous section, you will be taken to the device details page.

To sign out of your account on the selected device, click on the Sign-out option, as shown in the figure below.

After selecting this option, a page like the one below will be displayed to confirm this action:

If you are sure of your action, select OK to disable your Google and Gmail accounts on the selected device. When you select this option, the connection between the selected device and your Gmail account will be cut off instantly without any delay.

After logging out of your account, you will return to the previous page showing the list of devices connected to your Gmail. Now, a new section has been added to this page called “Where you’ve signed out,” as shown in the figure below:

In this section, you can see the devices that you have logged into with your account and then logged out of at least 28 days ago.

How to check Gmail activity history through a computer?

Open your Gmail account on your computer’s web browser.

Go to the Inbox and scroll down to the bottom of the page. In the last section of the Inbox, click on ‘Details’ located at the bottom right.

A new window will immediately open.

In the Recent Activity section, you can view your latest Gmail activities. Access Type: how your account was accessed.

Location (IP address): the IP address of the device that logged in.

Date/Time: when you logged in to Gmail.

To view the details of each activity, click on Show Details. By clicking on details, you can see more specifications such as the type of browser, operating system used, etc.

If you feel that there is suspicious activity in your account, for example, if your account has been accessed from a suspicious IP address at a time when you have not opened Gmail, the best and fastest way is to click on Sign out other Gmail web sessions to log out of all connected devices.

How to check Gmail activity history through an Android phone?

• Open the Gmail app and tap on the three-line menu icon in the top right corner, then select Settings.

• You should now see all accounts connected to the Gmail app. Tap on the account you want and select “Manage your Google Account” on the next page.

• Scroll down and tap on the blue link “Manage your Data & Personalization” under the “Privacy and Personalization” section.

• In the “Activity Controls” section, tap on “Web & App Activity”.

• Scroll down and select “Manage Activity.” You will see a list of all the activities that have been performed on your phone. Tap on any of the Gmail items to view details.

• You can now see the time of access and more. Tap on the three-dot menu and select “Details” to see all the details.

How to Change Your Gmail Password

As previously mentioned, changing your Gmail password is not difficult and does not require complex steps. To do this, follow the steps below:
